Local Meals on Wheels Delivers 8 Millionth Meal

The achievement marks an important chapter in the nonprofit’s 52-year history of serving older adults throughout Fort Bend and Waller counties.
What began as a community effort to address senior hunger has grown into a comprehensive support system providing nutritious meals, wellness checks, transportation, and social connection to thousands of seniors each year, Meals on Wheels execs say.
