Fulshear city leaders consider $250 million town square development

Fulshear City Council members will meet Tuesday night to discuss a major development proposal that could transform an open field off FM 1093 and FM 359 into a hub with a hotel, sports facility, and retail.
The project is called Fulshear Town Square. It is still in the conceptual stages, but renderings from the Johnson Design Group show plans for the city's first hotel, a sports complex, a fitness center, medical offices, grocery stores, and more.
The Johnson Group's plan also includes ideas for what are called Fulshear Luxury Lofts, which could bring more residential space to the area.
